Save the Children

Crystal Falls regularly sponsors fruit juice to the Save the Children initiative in Kwazulu-Natal. This charity organisation was established 48 years ago by a group of volunteers and is currently focussed on community development programmes. One of these programmes includes skills training where parents and caregivers are equipped with the necessary skills to start up a small business from home.

Crystal Falls makes it's marquee at the Bastille Festival

Crystal Falls was involved with the Bastille Festival that was held in Franschoek over the weekend of 17 and 18 July 2010. 4 800 tickets were sold during the weekend's festivities, proving this year's Bastille Festival to be yet another one for the record books.

The Bastille Festival was highlighted by decadent Food and Wine Marquees, the cinematic French Film Festival, the Chef and Waiter Race as well as many other fun filled activities.

A new spin on things

Crystal Falls, together with Virgin Active Tygervalley, sponsored a Battle of the Sexes spinning class on the 24th of June 2010. Team Wilde's Dieter Voigt proved to be quite a contender on a bike - he surely is a force to be reckoned with.

The challenge consisted of a 45 minute class filled with jumps, climbing and cadence training, followed by a Q&A to see which team could break a sweat both physically and mentally! Each team had a spinning instructor to help keep the participants motivated and strong.

At the end of the day, the ladies won in both the brains and brawn categories. Crystal Falls sponsored hampers for the event, while making sure that each participant walked out with a deliciously healthy Crystal Falls Cranberry Juice.

Heart Awareness Month 2010

September 2010 will once again be Heart Awareness Month. This is a month dedicated to educate South Africans about heart disease, with the sole purpose of preventing heart related risks.

Crystal Falls Juice, in support of Heart Awareness Month 2010, will be participating in the Heart Mark exhibitions in shopping centres around the country. These promotional stalls will allow Crystal Falls to inform health conscious individuals about the beneficial addition that the Crystal Falls 100% fruit juice range offers to a healthy diet.
